Mattia Bologni

Trained as a therapist in England he also boasts a master’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation and a diploma in osteopathy from the BFD school in Turin. This training means that by combining manual therapies with functional exercise he creates a treatment of a comprehensive nature, analyzing the body as a single system to the exclusion of the conventional analytical view. In his working years he has had the opportunity to collaborate with many orthopedists specializing in the rehabilitation of the lower and upper limb and the influence that the pelvis and spine can have on the various dysfunctions and injuries that on these body districts.

Luca Pagliazzi

Graduated in Physiotherapy in 2020 from the University of Florence, I immediately began working in ‘sports, following a swimming team and sportsmen of various kinds.
Specializing in physical therapy, functional and sports rehabilitation for return to ‘motor activity after injury.
Since 2021 I have been collaborating with Training Lab where I have developed post-operative, post-traumatic and musculoskeletal functional rehabilitation techniques, including neurocognitive approach and cognitive-motor training.

Andrea Magro

Graduating with a degree in Physiotherapy in 2008, I immediately began working in the world of professional sports, with particular interest in soccer, rugby and tennis. Over the years I have specialized in manual therapy according to the Maitland method, Trigger Point and Fascial Manipulation for both joint and internal problems. Since the 2008/2009 season I have been working with ACF FIORENTINA as a physiotherapist in charge of injury recovery for the men’s youth sector and since 2020 for the women’s team.

Our Pilates Instructors

Elena Paoli

ISEF graduate. Massophysiotherapist Diploma. Certified Polestar Pilates instructor. She has over twenty years of experience in sports as an Athletic Trainer, Fitness Teacher and Personal Trainer. For the past several years she has been dedicated to rehabilitation with Pilates technique for spinal disorders. In this field she collaborates with Neurosurgeons of the ASL of Florence. She has been collaborating with Training Lab for about 10 years.

Maria Banchi

Certified Polestar Pilates teacher, diploma issued by Pilates Method Alliance-PMA. Licensed to teach matwork and studio. Eight years of experience teaching Pilates. Graduate of the two-year professional training course Opus Ballet in Florence. Since 2010 deepened research on contemporary dance with the “common place” training course at OMA in Florence. Worked for 6 years as a professional dancer. Graduated with 110 cum laude in Health Care in 2017 from the University of Florence with the thesis “Physical activity and cancer: a multidisciplinary approach.” She has developed an interest in physical activity as a therapeutic intervention to complement and accompany conventional treatments during these years, including through her university career. She has been collaborating with the Training Lab for about 2 years.

Adele Corti

Graduated in 2021 from the University of Florence at the bachelor’s degree program in “Sports and Health Motor Sciences” with 110 cum laude, she later obtained a master’s degree in “Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities, doing a thesis on the effects of the Pilates method in subjects with Parkinson’s disease.
At the same time as the university course, she undertook professional training as a Pilates instructor with the Polestar Pilates school, obtaining international certification for teaching Pilates Studio.
She has been working as a fitness teacher since 2020.
She has been working as a Pilates teacher with our center since 2022.

Arianna Faustino

She holds a Master’s Degree in “Science and Techniques of Sport and Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities” (LM-67) from the University of Florence.
Certified ‘Comprehensive Balanced Body®’ Pilates instructor qualified to teach Pilates matwork and machines.
In 2019 she started teaching Pilates after obtaining the instructor’s diploma and in the same year also the qualification of Postural Gymnastics Teacher 1st and 2nd level at ASI National.

Riccardo Raffi

Lands in the world of sports as an athlete in Artistic Gymnastics. Continued his studies with ISEF and became a Regional Instructor and FGI 1st level judge. After 20 years of experience in Fitness (Aerobics, Step, Toning, Soft Gymnastics). Lands in Pilates technique since 2001 certified with the international school Polestar Mat Reformer studio.

Arianna Pintone

Graduated from the University of Asti in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Preventive and Adapted Exercise Science from the University of Florence in 2022. Research Fellow in “The influence of neuromuscular fatigue on the relationship between muscle contraction quickness and force-velocity profile” at the University of Turin in 2023. He is involved in research studies on subjects with Parkinson’s Disease for the Association “A Hook to Parkinson’s” and motor and visuomotor assessments at the Training Lab.

Jacopo Carocci

Graduated in Science of Exercise and Sport Activities in 2024 from the University of Florence. An elite category athlete for 12 years, he graduated as a federal 1st level technician in 2023. Since 2021, he has been a boxing instructor for people with Parkinson’s disease for the “A Hook to Parkinson’s” Association.
He received his CONI-recognized sports massage therapist diploma from the Diabasi school in 2021.

Dario Ballini

Graduated in Sports and Exercise Science in 2018 and in Sports Science and Techniques in 2021, he is currently in his second year of the Physiotherapy course at the University of Florence.
He has always been passionate about sports, practicing soccer and boxing, a passion, the latter of which led him to graduate as an aspiring Technician.
Since 2019, he has been a boxing instructor for patients with Parkinson’s disease for the “Un Gancio al Parkinson” Association.

Alessandro Cambedda

Graduated from the University of Cagliari in 2021 in Exercise Science and from the University of Florence in 2023 in Science of Preventive and Adapted Activities.
Since 2023, he has been a no-touch boxing instructor for patients with Parkinson’s disease for the “A Hook to Parkinson’s” Association.

Alberto Amati

Graduated in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Florence in 2022 and still working in Preventive and Adapted Exercise Science at the University of Florence. Certified as a 1st level personal trainer at Accademia Italiana Fitness in Rome. Competitive combat sports athlete, becoming a no-touch boxing instructor for patients with Parkinson’s Disease since 2023 for the “A Hook to Parkinson’s” Association.
